If you were out and about in Dallas Feb. 25, you undoubtedly noticed the city’s purple hue. From Reunion Tower to One Arts Plaza, downtown’s iconic commercial properties were all lit up in support of innovation in the region, marking the launch of Dallas Innovates.

A partnership between D Magazine Partners and the Dallas Regional Chamber, Dallas Innovates  provides daily reports on innovation in North Texas. It focuses on six areas: creative, education, enterprise, invention, social, and start up. Publisher Quincy Preston describes it as “connecting the dots,” through stories by local journalists, commentary from industry leaders, and profiles of innovative people and companies in Dallas-Fort Worth.
